folly, n, lack of good sense; foolishness

Maybe it was the heat that caused those foolish mistakes at the aptly named Folly Glen for the 4th event on the NI Urban League on 17 July? There were tales of missing turns, running off the map and reaching locked gates that were clearly shown on the map. Planner Kieran Rocks provided good entertainment and excersise for all on a beautiful day, with courses weaving in and out of alleyways and then into the cooler glen with the option of cooling off the feet in the river. Thanks also to organiser Oliva Baxter who stepped up to get all in order at short notice. The results including RouteGadget and Splitsbrowser are at Results>2022 Results.

The next outing of the NI Urban League is to Donagahadee on Saturday 20 August. Provisional details are on the LVO website.
