The structure of orienteering:
- British Orienteering Federation The official homepage of the British Orienteering Federation. NI Orienteering is a region of British Orienteering Federation.
- SportNI. The sport of orienteering is recognised by SportNI with British Orienteering as the National Governing Body.
- International Orienteering Federation The official homepage of the worldwide Orienteering governing body .
- Orienteering Ireland The homepage of our sister organisation in the Republic of Ireland.
The local orienteering clubs:
- FERMO Fermanagh Orienteers – the club covering the south-west of Northern Ireland. FermO are also on Facebook.
- LVO Lagan Valley Orienteers – the largest club in Northern Ireland, based in the greater Belfast area, but also including Co Down, Co Armagh and much of Co Antrim. LVO have a Facebook group and are also on Twitter.
- NWOC North West Orienteering Club- the club covering the north-west of Northern Ireland. NWOC are on Facebook.
- QUBOC Queen’s University Belfast Orienteering Club aka ‘The OC’. One of the few, ‘take it easy’, mixed sporting clubs in Queens! QUBOC have a closed Facebook group. Search “QUB Orienteering Club on Facebook”. QUBOC is currently dormant.
