It’s Home International Season
Teams have been announced for the forthcoming Home International Season.
First to compete are the Veterans travelling to South Yorkshire on 19-20 September. The team travelling under the direction of Team Manager Sharon Dickenson are:
- W40 – Niamh O’Boyle
- M40 – Rob McEvoy
- W45 – Fionne Austin, Toni O’Donovan
- M45 – Joe McClure,Glen Richardson,
- W50 – Brid Casey, Jennifer Leonard (W55)
- M50 – Killian Brennan, Philip Johnston-Davis,
- W55 – Carol Black, Eileen Young
- M55 – Bill Edwards, Brian Rowe
- W60 – Ursula Morrish, Heather Wood
- M60 – Lyle Fleming, Colm O’Halloran,
- W65 – Liz Deane, Ann Savage (W70)
- M65 – Michael Burto , Brian Corbett
- W70 – Ruth Lynam
- M70 – Val Jones
The Seniors then compete on home terrain on 3-4 October at Meelmore, preceding the NI Long Distance Champs with the relays to follow on Slievenagore. Rosalind Heron leads the team of:
- W20 – Eimear Casey, Emma Graham, Aoife Masterson,(Reserves: Deirbhile Hassett, Kathleen O’Donnell)
- M20 – James Ewart, Eoin O’Donnell, Jack Wilkins,
- W21 – Niamh Corbett, Rosalind Heron. Aoife McCavana, Clodagh Moran, Emer Perkins, Emily Rowe,
- M21 -Niall McCarthy, Colm Moran, Daire O’Brien, Paul Pruzina, Conor Short, Ruairi Short, (Reserve: Liam Cotter)

The Juniors are last to compete this year traveling to The Trossachs in Scotland on 10-11 October. The selectors are busy at work with an announcement of the team expected soon.
