Get your School Mapped

School Maps

An orienteering map of your school grounds can vary in cost depending on the difficulty, terrain, base map materials available. From evidence of the many schools mapped in Northern Ireland, it generally costs between £250-£350. The maps are created electronically so any changes to the premises can be easily updated.

Once you have this resource you can print it off as required. Use is not limited to orienteering; it can be a valuable resource for Maths, Geography or used in the early stages of Duke of Edinburgh/President’s Award.

There are at least 50 schools in NI which have already been mapped for orienteering but this may have been forgotten as staff change.

To check if your school is mapped or to get a map made follow the links to contact  rdo@niorienteering.org.uk for advice and assistance.
