Ireland Win the Judith Wingham Platter

Congratulations to the Ireland Junior Home International team who returned form Scotland last weekend with the Judith Wingham Platter, awarded to the winner between Ireland and Wales.

The individual competiton is normally held on the Saturday, but on this occasion  the relay was held first at competition was held on the Saturday at Loch Vaa near the Lagganlia Outdoor Centre which was the base for the weekend. At the conclusion of the relays Ireland were trailing Wales 16 points to 22. Anastasia Maglich should be congratulated for a very sound relay leg.

Moving to the individual event on the technical Creag Dubh map, Ireland made just enough progress to overturn the points table 49 to 51, with Anastasia again providing valuable points for the team
