The first comepetitive event of the year had an evellent turnout of 66 at Belvoir for the 2022 NI Score Championships on Saturday 19 February, in what was a weather window between Storms Eunice and Franklin. Expert planning by RIchard Vasey showed no obvious route to collect points, with much head scrathing to be done. Was it better heading for the estate first, or the long loop to the north, or the island or the tricker section to the north west? Post event disucssions provided no agreement, except that Richard had planned well. Congratulations to the 2022 Score Championions:

Following an interlude awaiting dusk when the prizes were presented and immediately taken back for engraving, the Night Champs were held in the forest area with a brand new set of controls. The courses were again planned by Richard Vasey with Olivia Baxter organising. The NI Night Champions 2022 are:
