The Calm Before the Storm
On a beautiful day out in the Glens of Antrim at NI Colour Series 6, just hours before the onset of Storm Ashley, competitors enjoyed challenging courses in the recently remapped Glenarriff Forest. As the penultimate Colour Series event of the 2024 season, the Curent Standings now show (higlighted in red) courses that have already been won, with congratuations to Moire O’Sullivan for Brown Women, Alan Elwood for Blue Men, Olivia Baxter for Blue Women, Nigel Foley-Fisher and Helen Baxter for Short Green Men and Women, Paul Graham for Light Green Men, Aran Power and Joanne Graham for Orange Men and Women and Cahal Power for Yellow Men. With just the final event to go at Todd’s Leap and Dunmoyle Forest, near Ballygawley, Co Tyrone on Saturday 16 November there is still particular contention for the top score in Brown Men and Green Men and Women.
