Take it on the Gortin

Thanks to Fermanagh Orienteers for a great day of testing orienteering at Gortin Forest Park on 6 October in beautiful autumnal sunshine.

Whilst courses initially appeared to be on the short side, the terrain proved to be testing, both physically and mentally, with a wide range of finish times. Tales of tumbles and navigational mistakes were common in the post race analysis, with conversation fuelled with a tasty morsel from the Junior Kitchen.

As those who were at Gortin will be aware, the date of the final NI Colour Series 2018 at Tyrella has changed to 17 November. Pre-registration will be required for those who did not submit details at Gortin. Details of how to pre-register are on the event page on the LVO website.
