Ireland Win the Celic Cup

Ireland have beaten Wales at the Senior Home International to claim the Celtic Cup back from Wales. The races were held at Perthshire over the weekend of 7-8 September. On both days the Irish and Welsh women were tied on points, but the men were victorious over Wales in both days who struggled to field a full team, with a 6th place individual finish by Paul Pruzina adding signifcantly to the points score. After a tie-breaker in 2023, Scotland beat England by 57 to 47 points. The points table and full results can be found on the Forth Valley Orienteers website.

The Veteran Home International takes place in Co Tyrone on 5-6 October, with the individual event combined with the Northern Ireland Championsips and the Juniors travel to East Anglia the following weekend.
