I wish I was in Carrickfergus
As a prelude to the British Sprint and Middle Distance Championships, over 150 orienteers from Northern Ireland, Great Britian, Republic of Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Switzerland and even Australia enjoyed urban courses around the historic town of Carrickfergus on the evening of Thursdya 5 May. Thanks to the team of Paul Daniels planner, Richard Heatherington organiser, Richard McCourt controller and Bill Simpson mapper supported with volunteers on the day. This was the first NI Urban League event of the year and the second UK Urban League event held with the first at Lisburn in 2015. The provisional results are at Results>2023 Results.
