Congratulations to the 2024 NI Champions

Congratulations to the 2024 NI Champions

The NI Long Distance Championships was run in surprisingly dry conditions, with the weather forecast suggesting heavy rain, at Gortin Glen Forest Park on Saturday 5 October. The event followed the Veteran Home Internationals with the top veterans from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales competing. Thanks to the FermO team with officials Raymond Finlay – Planner, Teresa Finlay – Organiser, Philip McGoldrick – Assistant Controller, Stephen Gilmore – Controller.

The champions will be presented with their trophies at the NI Orienteering AGM and Prizgiving to be held on Saturday 15 February 2025 following the NI Score Championships and before the NI Night Championships to be hosted by LVO in the South Down area.
