Turf but no Surf
The results from the NI Colour Series at Portstewart on Saturday 6 September are now updated at Results & Fixtures>2025 Results, along with RouteGadget (do upload your routes) and the updated NI Colour Series standings. Thanks to the officials Organisers: Charlie & Rachel Reid , Planner Ros Walker and Controller David Blair for an enjoyable and testing day out in the dunes. Although the lure of the surf awaited after the event, in the blustry conditions no orienteers were observed taking the plunge.
Thanks also to Alan Gartside for the updated NI Colour Series standings calculations. With two events still to go in the 2025 NI Colour Series, all colours are still to be run for with the exeption of Brown Women with Moire O’Sullivan having secured the lead.
The next events are at Tyrella South, Co Down on 08/11/25 and Gortin Forest, Co Tyrone on 22/11/25.
