Extra Ordinary General Meeting
Notice is given of a Extra Ordinary General Meeting of NI Orienteering on Tuesday 30 September at 19:30. The short meeting will take place on Zoom. Please register with the Hon Secretary for the link to the meeting which will be issued closer to the date.
The meeting will consider a proposal for the committee to keep membership fees for 2026 at the same level as 2025, but to remove the new member part year discounts. The rationalle is that with membership fees being so low (eg £5 per senior, £2.50 per junior) the small discounts were insigificant and were not easily understood. Reduced or free fees for events or activities is considered a more appropirate marketing tool to attract new members.
