Home International Season

We are into Home International season, with the veterans just back from Mid Wales for a weekend of racing on 1 and 2 October. Included on the Ireland team were Helen Baxter, Michael Burton, Heather Cairns, Ciara Largey, Steven Linton, Moire O’Sullivan, Stephanie Pruzina, Billy Reed, Ann Savage and Richard Vasey. After Day 1 Ireland had the lead over Wales, although sadly running on home territory the Welsh team managed to overtake Ireland in the points table after the relays by 133 points to  127.5 points.

Then next weekend on 8 and 9 October, it’s time for the Junior team to head for Scotland with Chloe Grattan, Anastasia Maglich, Dan Murphy and Oliver O’Kane on the Ireland team. The events will be held at Loch Vaa near Aviemore.

The Senior Home Internationals will be held on the weekend of 5-6 November in the South Central Region.
