Ballykelly First Forest Results
The results are in from the NI Colour Series at Ballykelly forest at Fixtures & Results>2026 Results, with the NI Colour Series League Standings also published.
Almost 100 competitors enjoyed an almost dry day, albeit with hail on the ground on courses well crafted by planner Des Fletcher ,who made very good use of the runnable areas of the forest. Thanks also to organiser Ruth Blair, controller David Blair and the NWOC team. You can track the routes of competitors on RouteGadget but also now Livelox. As with Routegadget, Livelox has been set up by LVO but is available for all NI Orienteering events. Therefore NWOC, FermO members as well as LVO members can set up a free account using these instructions:
1. Go to http://www.livelox.com
2. Click “Sign up” (top-right corner)
3. Create a User Account (Name, Email, Country, Username, Password)
4. Scroll down to Try Livelox Premium for free. Select ‘No thanks, continue with Livelox Limited’ for a free account, then ‘Create Account.’
5. Your account will automatically open on your ‘My User Account’ page.
6. Join the Club on Livelox: Go to My User Account → Clubs → Add a Club. Search for Lagan Valley Orienteers and add it.
7. Connect a GPS device: In My User Account > Connections to route-providing application, you can link your Garmin, Polar, or Suunto account so routes upload automatically. See screenshot below for recommended choices. On your User Account afterwards, under Privacy, your Default Route Access Mode will be marked as Public, which is our preferred option to provide shared learning. Connection to a GPS device is age-dependent, so if this is not possible, manually upload once the event is live.
