Key Autumn Dates & 2022 Provisional Dates

The leaves are starting to fall as as we enter the last quarter of the year, but we look forward to a great autumn season with no less than 5 NI level events to go before year end.

There are less than 2 weeks to go before the 2021 NI Orienteering Championships at The Burren on the Co Fermanagh/Co Cavan border. The final entry date is Tuesday 5 October, so do be sure that you have your entry in.

Then no less than 3 Colour Series events:

  • 30 Oct at Kilbroney near Rostrevor Co Down, hosted by LVO.
  • 13 Nov at Drumphna near Maghera, Co L’Derry hosted by NWOC. (Expect later start times.)
  • 27 Nov at Seskinore near Omagh, Co Tyrone. hosted by FermO. (Note change of venue.)

Unlike most club level events, Colour Series events offer 8 colour codes courses so are absolutely perfect for all levels of experience. from novice kids through to experienced adults. To find out what colour matches your ability and experience, click here.

Then as a further bonus, the NI Night Champs, postponed from February will take place after the Drumphna Colour Series at Portglenone, Co Antrim, hosted by LVO with permission to use the NWOC map.
