Inspired by Dave

Many orienteers will be aware that former Northern Ireland orienteering junior and son of LVO member Wilbert Hollinger, met with a life changing accident in Scotland last year. Dave Hollinger was able to climb the world’s most challenging mountains but in March 2018 he was only able to move his eyes, as a result of a devastating brain stem stroke. Dave has made incredible progress and has regained slight movement in each limb.  With the support of his wife, family and NHS team and a steely determination, he is making amazing progress in the right direction but there are huge challenges ahead.
