Important Fixture Changes

Calendars & marker pens at the ready folks.  Recent Fixture Changes all gathered together for you (fingers crossed I haven’t missed any)

Saturday 25th AugustNWOC Colour Series – moves from the sand dunes of Magilligan to the woodland of Garvagh Forest.  So, no need for bucket & spade.  Further info here  This is also the LVO Club Championships.

Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th August are also now an exciting Junior Training Weekend.  Juniors will start off with the Garvagh event at their normal colour course, then lots of coaching to build skills.  Stephanie Pruzina is co-ordinating this one.  If you’re a Junior, or in charge of a Junior, make sure you get yourself onto her mailing list.  You’ll get all the info on upcoming Juniors plans, trips & trainings.  stephpruzina at aol dot com

LVO’s Autumn Trophy at Kilbroney Forest Park is now on Sunday 9th September (moved from Saturday 8th).  Starts from 1:30pm, this is an excellent map, recently updated.  Yellow, Orange & Green courses on offer, with courses planned by Moire O’Sullivan of satellite hub Tollymore Orienteers (first timer!) supported by Philip Baxter.  More info will appear here

*CANCELLED EVENT* LVO’s event on Saturday 24th November at Gosford Forest Park has been cancelled.  The Council are putting in loads of new trails, and it’s not ready for O just yet.  This was to be their club championships – they’re now in Garvagh on 25th August.
