WELCOME BACK

For the third County Armagh WEE Series 2007 event, the action moves to Gosford Forest Park near Markethill.

DIRECTIONS TO GOSFORD FOREST PARK

From Belfast/Antrim: turn off at Junction 11 on the M1 (Portadown) and follow the signs for the A3 to Armagh. From Armagh, take the A28 to Newry. Gosford Forest Park is signposted off the A28 (on the left-hand side) just before the Markethill turnoff.

Alternatively, from Portadown, either take the A27 to Tandragee, followed by the B3 to the junction of the A28 near Markethill; or take the B78 and follow the signs for Gosford Forest Park.

From Newry: take the A28 to Armagh. Gosford Forest Park is signposted off the A28 (on the right-hand side) just beyond the Markethill turnoff.

PARKING

There is ample parking in the main car park. Standard forestry parking charges apply (£4 per car or £10 per minibus) for those who do not have an annual permit.

REGISTRATION

Registration will take place adjacent to the main car park. Registration will start at 6:45pm and starts will be from 7:00pm to 7:45pm. Courses will close at 8:30pm with controls being lifted from this time onwards.

ENTRIES

Entry is £2.50 per person which includes a pre-printed map. Plastic map bags will also be provided, but if you already have one, please do your bit for the environment and re-use it. SportIdent card (dibber) hire is free.

PRE ENTRIES

In order to speed up the registration process, you can send your details to Fiona before Wednesday evening. All you then have to do on the night is collect your map and dibber and head to the start! Alternatively, you can just turn up on the night and complete a registration form then.

COURSE DETAILS

There will be two courses, a short easy one of 2.03km with 6 controls, and a longer one of 3.74km with 10 controls.

Toilets will be available adjacent to the main car park.
