Entry will be FREE at this event due to a generous sponsorship by Belfast City Council.

Final Details From the Organiser:

It's the finale to the 2007 WEE series on 29th August in the splendour of Botanic Gardens. As usual, arrive between 6.45 and 7.15, with starts from 7.00 to 7.30pm. Courses close strictly at 8.15pm - so please do plan to arrive earlier rather than later. This will mean your organisers can gather in controls and make it back in time for a hotdog.

Did I mention our BBQ? Run your course, collect your results slip, bring it to the BBQ and you shall be furnished with a complimentary hotdog. Offer subject to availablility, while stocks last!

Please check your travel directions carefully. Registration will be by the Queens PEC carpark. Please park outside the barriers on Stranmillis Embankment. We must keep all non-organisers cars outside the gates, at the request of Queens. If you're unsure of directions, please use multimap or email me and I can send further details. Please pre-register by email where you can. It's quick, easy, and saves us all time on the night when important things like hotdogs are at stake.

We are also holding our prizegiving in conjunction with our BBQ, so if you think you're in line for a prize please have your acceptance speech packed.

Moving on from the WEE series, Lagan Valley Orienteers continue to compete over the coming months (believe it or not, summer used to be our quiet time!). We would love to welcome as many new people as possible to our events, and both non-members and beginners will still be catered for. See the main LVO website for all the details.

The date of the first Autumn event has been changed due to a timetabling clash. We now start on the second Saturday in September, Saturday 8th, which my sources tell me has been moved to Woodburn, near Carrickfergus. Feel free to email me for details, directions, and also if you would like further information on our club, on membership, on how to add yourself to our email list etc etc etc.
