Results for the pacing and bearing

Sunday afternoon's Pacing and Bearing competition yielded some interesting results. The idea was to place your wooden peg in the ground 110 metres along a bearing of 195 degrees. (Made slightly more difficult by being through the forest and downhill.)

There was quite a wide variation and spread of pegs. The calibrated pacing of Mr Gartside, our adjudicator, identified the location and checked it from both directions. The winner was declared as Lyle Fleming with Harry Millar a very close second. Well done to Lyle and all who took part.
