Results for the night event
In all 43 competitors started this event in the twilight with most finishing in darkness. Six course variations of roughly similar length were used with the central portion having the controls arranged in a circle. Competitors joined and left the circle at different controls with every competitors covering all legs of the circle. Apart from the two fastest competitors being head to head on the same course the results suggest no particular course bias. As I have no knowledge of the SI entry and results system I am extremely obliged to Gavin Cairns Wilson McAlister and Bill Simpson for setting it up and resolving the problems. Apologies for the lack of split times for the early finishers due to trying to use the wrong printer.
