are purely for information purposes. The current up-to-date and valid

Membership of Lagan Valley Orienteers is open to anyone resident in the
following council areas: Antrim, Ards, Armagh, Banbridge, Belfast,
Carrickfergus, Castlereagh, Craigavon, Down, Larne, Lisburn, Newry
& Mourne, Newtownabbey, North Down.
Fermanagh
Orienteers and

West Orienteering Club cover the remainder of Northern
Ireland.
Queen's
University of Belfast Orienteering Club is only open to
Queen's students.
Members of all clubs in Northern Ireland must also become
members of the Northern
Ireland Orienteering Association and British
Orienteering at either Local or National level.
There is also good cooperation with the Irish Orienteering
Association. LVO members are frequently part of the
all-Ireland team in the annual Home International (England v Ireland v
Scotland v Wales) races at Junior, Senior and Veteran level. The Irish
Championship is held in Northern Ireland every 4th year.
Membership for 2011 is now open with membership expiring 31
Dec 2011.

Special Notes
. British Orienteering Local Membership fee worth £8.00 Senior or £14
Family is free in the first year to those who have not been members of
any orienteering club in the last 3 years.
. Annual membership fees expire on 31 Dec, except for new members
joining after 1 Sep who may receive up to 16months membership.
. In subsequent years you will be invited to re-join by British
Orienteering and may choose to enjoy a discount for annual
direct-debit. Local Members may also upgrade to National membership.
. "Club Only Senior Membership" is available only for those not
resident in Northern Ireland. This is primarily for former members who
have moved away and wish to retain a link with the club. The fee is
£4.50.
. "Club Only Group Membership" is available for schools, youth groups
and outdoor centres who wish to retain a link with the club. The fee is
£10.
