Permanent Orienteering Courses
All three NIOA regions have a number of public orienteering venues with permanent control points placed in the terrain. Pre-printed maps showing these controls can be obtained from the clubs by individuals for their own use. These maps will detail suggested courses generally ranging from simple to moderate levels of technical difficulty. Please note that if you want to run an organised event using multiple purchased maps you will need to get permission/activity permits from the land owner.
