Join NI Orienteering here

Clubs come under the auspices of the Northern Ireland Orienteering Association (N.I.O.A.), which in turn is governed by the rules of the British Orienteering Federation (B.O.F.).
Local and national Orienteering Events are run according to B.O.F. rules governing all aspects of the sport including standard of planning, organising, safety, etc. B.O.F. also provide insurance cover for all Events, which would otherwise be prohibitively expensive for each Club.
The British Federation has decided to change Membership rules for all Orienteers.
As from September 2006 all new* Club/Association Members must be members of B.O.F., but for your first year you only pay Club and N.I.O.A. fees (unless you choose to become a National B.O.F. Member.)
*New Members, as from September 2006, will automatically be made B.O.F. Local Members, but this will be FREE until the end of the following year. (eg. Join in September 2006 no fee to pay to B.O.F. until the end of 2007, when you will automatically be sent a renewal form from B.O.F. for 2008).
Your Membership Card will be sent to you directly from B.O.F. (You will be asked to show your card at local Event map sales to benefit from the £2 discount.)
To join identify your local club from the map above and then go the to the BOF online membership page
We hope you become active Members of you local Club and enjoy Orienteering for many years to come.
*N.B. New Members are those who have never belonged to an Orienteering Club, or those who have not been Members of an Orienteering Club for at least 3 years.
